FAQ's

Our primary work is to share movement-based mindfulness tools with clients as a pathway to joy. The multi-day retreat offers you the opportunity to learn, apply, and adapt some of these practices and ideas, with support and dialogue, in a small group setting.

We build each retreat based partially on who’s coming and what they are most interested in collectively and individually.

What's included in the fee?

All food and accommodations are included - though, some meals are prepared individually (most breakfasts and lunches) and dinners made communally. We reach out to all attendees in advance for dietary preferences, and favorite and comfort food items to stock.

We do our best to meet attendees sleeping needs re: solo rooms vs. sharing with twin beds, etc.

Travel to and from the retreat is not included.

Where is the reatreat?

A large vacation/retreat house within 3 hours of DC. Expect abundant scenic views and access to nature walks and outdoor amenities. 

What is the schedule?

Daily timing of events is somewhat fluid and based on community decisions. We offer 1:1 sessions for all attendees each day. We will select times for those daily and by mutual agreement. There is no obligation to participate, simply an invitation.

 

We will clarify the daily schedule via a visual display in the house.

 

Sample Daily Schedule: 

Day 1 - Arrival starts at 12pm

Arrive. Unpack. Explore the house and grounds

1:1 Grounding sessions (30 - 45 mins)
HH: Tea/Mocktails/Cocktails and snacks @5pm

Dinner on-site @6pm

Evening Session (Community Agreements + Goals + Tools + Boundaries)

Breakfast on your own at the house or in the community
